• You can divorce him.

Waiting around passively hoping he will stop cheating will drive you to distraction eventually, so it's not much of an option.

Divorce is an expensive and drastic action that can't be easily undone. Think it over to be sure it's the right decision before you take action and file for divorce.

Finally you can decide that you are going to save your marriage.

Saving you marriage is the best choice if both of you want it. It will take a bit of work, but there's no reason to believe it's impossible.

He will need to start with putting an immediate end to the affair. Next he is going have to make some changes in his attitude and start treating you with the respect and love you deserve.

He can't save the marriage on his own, you will need to put some effort into as well.

You will never forget what he did, but your are going to have to forgive him for it.

You will never be happy living with him until you have learned to forgive him.

If you keep reminding him of his indiscretion and punishing him for it the rest of his life, he will never get over his feelings of guilt. No one can live a life like that, and he will be left with no choice but to leave you.

Accepting partial responsibility for the affair may not be the easiest thing you can do, but if you can find some of the things in yourself that need changing, you have taken a big step towards ensuring that it will never happen again.
