Men may not be as good at picking up tips about what someone feels as women are, but rather they realize it or not they are still able to discern a lot by your body language and so you need to make sure you are sending out the right signal to any man you want to attract.

For the most part body language is displayed with no conscious effort on your part, so if you are relaxed and genuinely interested in him chances are he will see it.

The most important thing you can do to make sure you are sending the right signals is to prepare yourself before you even leave the house. Get yourself in the right frame of mind. Do whatever it takes to get yourself upbeat and happy. Be prepared to meet someone and enjoy his company while being fully aware that he may or may not turn out to Mr. Right.

The problem comes in when certain habits you have may be sending him the wrong signals or you could be concentrating so much on your body language that you start to become still and uncomfortable and it shows.

Crossing your arms.

Women will normally cross their arms when talking to men they don't like or when they are angry, but it can sometimes merely be a mannerism that you have picked up over the years.

To you it may just be a relaxed position but he doesn't know that and will get the wrong message.

You can use this to send a message to someone you don't like so it's something to remember if he's just not getting the message that you aren't interested.

Not looking him in the eyes

It's common for people that are shy to look down when they are talking, but if you can look him directly in the eyes while the two of you are talking it show both a genuine interest in him as well as honesty. Both very attractive traits.

Hands clasped together

This is a sign that you are tense and nervous.

Toe tapping

Show signs of impatience. Note that this is different than dangling your shoe and lightly flipping your toes which is a sign of attraction.

Leaning back or away from him

This gives the impression that you are pulling away from him.

Looking around the room.

Checking out other guys or just seeming more interested in what everyone else is doing rather than what he's saying is a sure sign that you aren't interested.

If you are really interested you wouldn't like do this, but if you do catch yourself doing it stop and start focusing on him.

These are just a few of the habits you may have picked up that will derail your chance of creating his attraction. Watch for them and try to eliminate them from your usual behavior.
